Having grown up and spent the majority of his life around restaurants, Cale knows the ins and outs of the booming Canadian restaurant business. Cale has worked in nearly every capacity in the industry, starting as a dishwasher, cook, server, bartender and then making his way up to management. Before starting ECG Hospitality, Cale earned a business degree and an MBA while playing University football. He left the hospitality business for a short time to work in pharmaceutical sales and later as a project manager for a steel fabricator. Cale has built an impressive resume in and out of the Canadian restaurant business, using his vast industry knowledge to revolutionize the airport restaurant scene.
A legend of the Canadian restaurant industry, Gerry brings a wealth of experience and success, having enjoyed an extremely rewarding career as a restauranteur. Before forming ECG Hospitality, Gerry worked as a partner with the Keg Restaurants for more than a decade, owned and operated Speedy Creek Ltd. for 30 years, and then became President of Brinker Canada. Gerry earned a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Alberta, and was renowned for being a star center for the UofA Golden Bears football team. After graduating, Gerry played in the CFL for the B.C. Lions and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers before retiring from football in 1980 to start his career in the restaurant industry.
